Linux Based Programmer

Equentity LLC is currently seeking between one and three developers to work with our lead programmer on an upcoming project, creating custom-built order management, billing and support applications. These applications will run in a Linux environment, and we will consider any applicants with knowledge in any reasonable platform and/or language (PHP, Python, RoR etc). Proficiency with Apache is required.

This is a one-time contract, with the possibility of ongoing work. Phone meetings will be necessary during the course of development, and in-person meetings may be requested. Applicants may need to travel while working on this project (airfare and accommodations will be provided if travel is necessary).

The projected development time is three months. Pay is negotiable with qualified applicants, based on experience and involvement during development.

Mandatory Requirements

Expert-level proficiency with a server-side Linux programming platform/language and database.
Proficiency with Apache.
Ability to work in a team with several team members remotely.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants must be located in North America, the United Kingdom or an EU country.
Willingness to travel if requested.
